This is an envelope in which a new record was placed for the customer to carry home.  Not the same as a record sleeve which protected the record in the machine at home.  Of course, there were albums that came with your Victrola, but often a record library would exceed the capacity of the album set.
This was 12" wide and tall for the large size record.  It promotes the company's Orthophonic line of talking machines, dating from around 1926.
